Technological process of reservoir rock stimulation to improve production rate of a well. Large volumes of pressurized fracturing fluids (usually water with proppant and chemical additives) are sequentially injected to the well so as to induce, maintain or enlarge fractures in the rock. Hydraulic fracturing is intended to unlock the gas or enhance well productivity.
