Draft Poland's Energy Policy until 2050 passed to consultations
Less coal, more renewable and nuclear energy, gas (including shale gas) – this is the recipe for Poland's energy in the future, according to a document prepared by the Ministry of the Economy. However, alternative sources of energy will not replace soon (if ever) the coal, so the latter is expected to play a key role in the years to come.
Production tests of Lublewo LEP-1ST1H Well
Following hydraulic fracture stimulation, the Lubiewo LEP-1ST1H horizontal well is being production tested (gas flow tests in the horizontal well). 3Legs Resources Company, which jointly with ConocoPhillips is exploring for gas in Poland, drilled the well.
